Morning Bites: Bret Easton Ellis writes the shark, Borges lectures, Jónsi scores, and more

Well this is just in time for Shark Week: Bret Easton Ellis to team up with Raging Bull and Taxi Driver writer, Paul Schrader, to write a shark film.  This is also officially the second day in a row that we’ve led with a Brett Easton Ellis Bite.

  • Sadie Stein of The Paris Review goes to see Sholem Aleichem: Laughing in the Darkness, and we end up finding out she’s the granddaughter of the man who wrote the screenplay for the Fiddler on the Roof film.  See what happens when you read?  You learn interesting things like this!
