Literary Schwag: The Paris Review beach towel

Aside from the total editorial 180 the famous literary mag has taken since Lorin Stein took over as editor ( a really good 180), The Paris Review has also redefined the idea of literary schwag by giving away a beach towel when you subscribe.

Six months ago, this would have fallen under the category of WWGPD? (What Would George Plimpton Do?), but we already answered that question.  Plus, we don’t even think old George could have came up with this idea.
