Posted by Tobias Carroll

This weekend brings with it the fifth annual edition of Bushwick Open Studios, held from June 3-5 at various spaces in and around Bushwick. It’s also the first year of Bushwick Open Pages, which will add a literary component to the festival. We’ll be taking part in it, along with Slice, Red Lemonade, and others; details follow.

Saturday, June 4th at 3 p.m.
PUBLISHING AND LITERARY COMMUNITY
Richard Nash (Cursor/Red Lemonade); Saba Afshar (Slice magazine/Brooklyn Writers’ Conference); Tobias Carroll (Volume 1 Brooklyn/The Scowl)

Sunday, June 5th at 3 p.m.
ARTS WRITING IN NEW MEDIA: WHAT WE DO—CAN DO—SHOULD DO
Paddy Johnson (Art Fag City); Hrag Vartanian (Hyperallergic); Marina Galperina (AnimalNY)

Both panels will be held at duckduck, at 161 Montrose Avenue.

We’ll also be taking in (among others) the Bushwick Daily’s Tuesday People, assembled by Sunday Stories contributor Katarina Hybenova; and at least two spaces at 1717 Troutman Street.
